My Sweet Housemate is an interactive visual novel style game that puts you into the shoes of a homeless adult struggling to find affordable housing in America.
You're hit with a stroke of good - or maybe bad - luck when you finally find a totally not suspicious rental listing for a room in an apartment. The only catch is that your new landlord, Seung-min, seems to have something off about him.

i cant figure out how to open the game:( i have downloaded it corectly (atleast i think so...) but when i click "open" nothing happens:(( i dont know if i did something wrong, or if its the game. please someone help me

does anyone know how to get the ending that's represented with the alien icon, i am utterly lost on what i could do😭or just a hint, i think i've tried a bunch of combos but it just leads me to endings i've already found. i assume getting that would also net me the last piece of art missing in the gallery, too - the completionist within me is clawing at the walls of the enclosure
on a side note, this is a really funny and well made game!! hated making seung-min sad on my ways to some of the endings, the way his whole sprite slouched down :[ Housemate ver. 1 my beloved canon ending in my mind (idk if there's any ending that's actually considered canon though, just found this game recently!) excited for your other new game, i'll need to try the demo :]

He keeps the apartment clean, he enjoys cooking together, he's not loud, he doesn't invite tons of people over- ideal housemate. Plus meat is expensive he's saving us loads of money on groceries, 10/10 roommate I'd live with him.
I came here IMMEDIATLY after playing the Online Obsession demo and I loved this just as much! the art style and writing are super endearing and I had a blast. Thanks for the great game and good luck with all your future projects! <3

one particular ending had me giggling in vc for 20 minutes straight with my friend who kept screaming so loud his mic peaked... i do NOT giggle!! but for seung-min i'll make an exception.
I don’t normally say anything under games but this one was so epic I just have to!! IT WAS FRIGGIN AHMAZING! Its humor was exactly what I love in Visual Novels & when i thought I had enough I just found another charming aspect of the game! Seung-min is the best and I’m totally gonna be obsessed with him for a while & It makes me even more excited to see what else ur gonna make! (Also I pride myself in pointing out every StarBlitz reference I could find 😼) more than worth the 5 bucks. 10,000/10!!!!
(Oh also I’m BEGGING YOU to put the OST on Spotify or smth it’s so scrumptious)

Omgg this game is so fun to play haha, I love Seung min, like hes so real on some stuff he says. And the gameplay is so fun like the minigames and the format of the style. I also love the artstyle soo much and his shirts are so silly I love it

I've had this game in my to play list for a while but saw it was review bombed and decided to bump it up the list and play it now! It was so cute and funny. LOVED the t-shirts, big fan of seung-min. the art is so good!

I just bought this on steam and finished it 100% and EEEKKK i love this man...the UI of the game is really cute, the soundtrack is cute, seung-min is cute...10/10 would recommend

I really liked this game. I bought it on steam and got all endings + achievements. I hope there will be more content of of Seung-min or additional updates in the future cause I love him so much <3
